Getting Permission
You must have permission before spending company funds. If you are asked to travel on behalf of the company, you are authorized to spend company funds in preparation for and during your trip in accordance with Banzai’s Travel Policy. Other expenses require prior clearance from your manager. In some cases, your manager may approve a budget for a project or activity. In that case, you have permission to spend company funds in accordance with the terms of that budget. In any case, company funds may only be used for valid business purposes. In an effort to monitor and control certain categories of spending, Banzai has centralized various vendor relationships. In these cases, you may be required to use a specified vendor or channel to make certain purchases. Your manager will help you recognize when this is the case.
